Beige Denim Shoulder Crossbody Bag with Long Striped Strap, Upcycled One-of-a-Kind. 007:3 Boro

£45.00

Simple lightweight bag in a soft but very sturdy oatmeal denim with a lovely colourful cream, pink, rust and blue striped strap. It can be worn on the shoulder or as a cross body bag, and inside is a pocket and D-ring to attach keys, which makes it handy for a quick trip to the shop, dog walking, for work or as a project bag.

I made three bags from the last few pieces of beige denim fabric leftover from making pottery aprons. The stripey webbing colours work so perfectly with the subtle tone of the beige denim; it's very strong webbing, sewn on to the bag with a 'cross-box' to strengthen it further. Each of these aprons is a one-of-a-kind piece.

ABOUT: Working in my studio in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches using cotton canvas, denim or drill - fabrics that are natural, washable and durable. Careful attention to detail, strength of construction and beautiful stitching result in a quality of finish simply not possible in mass production. I cut fabric economically, minimising waste and saving the small remnants to make one-of-a-kind bags for my ‘Boro Collection’.
