One-of-a-kind Ochre Patchwork Canvas Bag with Blue Patterned Cord Strap. Upcycled. 003

£120.00

Conspicuous contemporary style combines with eco-zero waste values in this robust and well made shoulder bag - comprised of over 20 individual pieces of golden canvas remnants sewn together to give a striking striped effect. The seams inside are neatly overlocked and the pocket edges are bound with orange woven tape. The blue patterned para-cord allows the strap to be adjusted, knotting through a tube of fabric on one side of the bag. I designed this bag specifically to use long strips of canvas leftover from making work aprons in the range and each one is unique.

ABOUT: Working in my studio in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches using cotton canvas, denim or drill - fabrics that are natural, washable and durable. Careful attention to detail, strength of construction and beautiful stitching result in a quality of finish simply not possible in mass production. I cut fabric economically, minimising waste and saving the small remnants to make one-of-a-kind bags for my ‘Boro Collection’.
