**My USA shipping will be temporarily suspended 22 Aug-30 Sept 2025. New US customs & tariffs come into force on 29th August 2025, which will inevitably lead to delays and lost parcels for a while - I don't want to lose any of the aprons & bags I've made so I'll wait until the new customs systems 'bed in' before re-starting US shipping. Details are yet to be confirmed but it looks like the tariff on goods from the UK will probably add just over 10% to prices.

ABOUT: This No14:2 design came about after feedback from various makers who prefer a more 'secure-fit' apron, but still needed ease of movement for their legs. The solution was a tie waistband and neck ties with a generously pleated skirt, later a split leg feature was added to the design. It has been a really popular design partly I think because it is such an attractive as well as functional style.

Working in my studio in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches using cotton canvas, denim or drill - fabrics that are natural, washable and durable. Careful attention to detail, strength of construction and beautiful stitching result in a quality of finish simply not possible in mass production. I cut fabric economically, minimising waste and saving the small remnants to make one-of-a-kind bags for my ‘Boro Collection’.
