Gardening apron with an ingenious drawstring skirt feature that forms a huge harvesting pouch (waist ties insert through drawstring loops for hands-free harvesting). The skirt has a large pouch pocket for gardening gloves, small garden tools, seed packets etc and the side pockets for secateurs and phone hang from the waistband so they don't dig in to you. SIZE: UNISEX SMALL-LARGE up to height 177cm/5'10". (womens size UK8-18-USA4-14). Length 89cm bib top to hem, waistband to hem 63cm, apron skirt width 70cm. (Model UK12/US8 170cm/5'7")

FABRIC & CARE: 100% cotton (Oeko-Tex 100 certified), Acrylic herringbone tape. Machine washable 30 degrees or handwash, slow spin. Do not tumble dry.

ABOUT: I really appreciate the meditative value of time spent in the garden - this apron came about because I needed special size/shape pockets which only an apron could provide - a pocket for secateurs (because I'm always misplacing them), phone pocket (because my kids insist I'm contactable at all times!), big pocket and pouch for harvesting veg, carrying cuttings or weeds. It's based on the No14:3 apron with it's strong secure waistband to take the weight of stuff carried in the pockets.

Working in my studio in hilly-leafy South-East London, I make aprons in small batches using cotton canvas, denim or drill - fabrics that are natural, washable and durable. Careful attention to detail, strength of construction and beautiful stitching result in a quality of finish simply not possible in mass production. I cut fabric economically, minimising waste and saving the small remnants to make one-of-a-kind bags for my ‘Boro Collection’.
